Dr Daniel Mullane, one of Facing Africa’s volunteer anaesthetist has decided to take on a massive challenge in aid of Facing Africa. Dan is a keen cyclist but hasn’t ever set himself a challenge like this one before. From the 8th of March 2020 he will start to cycle the distance of Cork, Ireland to Addis Ababa,Ethiopia, in total Dan will cycle a massive 8942 KM (5556 miles).

Currently living in Cork Dan does enjoy cycling in his spare time, although we’re not sure how he’ll feel about after this massive challenge! His aim is to raise 5000 euros to go towards the replacement and upkeep of Facing Africa’s monitors that are essential for the complex facial surgery carried out on each mission.

You can keep up to date with Dans progress through his Just Giving page where he will post updates. Lets get Dan to his target!
