Facing Africa wants to say a big thank you to year 6 Hodder class at Holy Trinity CE Primary School in Darwen. After the visit of one of our ward nurses Lynsey, during which she told them about Facing Africa’s missions and devastating disease noma we are fighting against, they decided to do their best to support our cause.  Their amazing charity night during which they transformed the school into a fully functioning restaurant for a night has raised an amazing £ 600 to go towards treatment of our little patients. Their teacher told us, these little guys worked tirelessly taking bookings, creating decorations and making phone calls. Their involvement into fundraising for us  and showing that they care, understand and want to help some of the most disadvantaged children in Africa is truly beyond value. Facing Africa is very proud to have such a young and enthusiastic team of supporters! We also secretly hope that in the future some of them will join our missions to Ethiopia as surgeons or nurses!
